E-Rahenan

Digital Academy for Educational Transformation

E-Rahenan is a pioneering platform that redefined how teachers in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq engaged in professional learning. Delivered entirely in Kurdish, it offered pedagogy-focused courses on modern teaching methods, teacher–student relationships, digital literacy, and effective assessment. Beyond technical skills, it fostered responsibility, critical thinking, and mutual respect—embedding language, knowledge, and modern pedagogy into everyday practice.

E-Xezan

Empowering Families for Holistic Development

  • Type: Family learning and engagement platform
  • Recipients: Parents and caregivers across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
  • Duration: 2021–2024
  • Funded by: UNICEF, Ministry of Education, Bradost Elementary School

E-Xezan placed parents at the heart of their children’s learning. This Kurdish-language platform delivered culturally relevant resources, practical toolkits, and guidance on supporting children’s education and well-being. Topics included managing technology use, supporting learners with special needs, and practising non-violent communication—strengthening the bridge between home and school.

Teacher Mentorship and Coaching System

Sustaining Professional Growth

  • Type: Structured coaching and mentorship for educators
  • Recipients: Teachers, school mentors, education supervisors across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
  • Duration: 2021–2024
  • Funded by: UNICEF, Ministry of Education, Bradost Elementary School

This initiative ensured that professional learning extended beyond training courses. By establishing a network of trained mentors and coaches within schools, it provided ongoing support that reinforced new teaching methods and inclusive practices. It cultivated collaboration and continuous growth, strengthened teacher capacity, enhanced instructional quality, and sustained integration of new knowledge and practices across the education sector.
